Sunday I was out in the yard in shorts and t-shirt. Today, it's been raining since this morning (2" possible) and it's a whopping 38 degrees out. What a suck a$$ day.

Rain and hail all day today. Made tower work on a mountaintop less fun.

We're up to a balmy 48 and no sun.

At least we will only get the rain on Sunday and not both days like it has been doing.

I think we could go until September with no rain and it still wouldn't be anything close to drought conditions. Rivers and lakes are still full to the top, or higher. Rain, rain, stupid rain. Not real warm either which makes it more of a mood depressor. Worst part, tough to find any time when the car can come out. If it isn't raining, it looks like it could rain at any moment most of the time. I really hope the weather turns a corner soon and there's more sun than clouds and it's actually warm out. By "warm" I mean 75 or above.

Yesterday sunny and 80. This morning pouring rain from buckets as we all felt our way along the highway and nearly drowned in the parking lots. Hopefully my shoes will be dried out enough by break time to put my spare pair of socks on.

We've had 4 days in a row of beautiful weather and,,,,,,,,it's about darn time! High's in the mid 70's mostly sunny, light breeze, 25-30% daytime humidity, AAAAHHHHHHH. Started out each day kind of nipply, in the low to mid 40's but warmed up quickly. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice also but then, the return of rain and t-storms for Sunday through Tuesday morning. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted

Know why it WILL rain on Sunday? There's a car show that day about 25 miles to the east of here.

Here's a weird weather oddity. This afternoon it was in the high 80's and fairly humid but the wind was blowing 10-20 mph out of the south so it wasn't TOO bad. Then we saw the black sky coming and it started getting darker and the wind just stopped. Oh-oh. Street lights came on. We were waiting for the you know what to hit the fan and out of nowhere, the wind blasted out of the north east about 800 mph (seemingly) and within 30 seconds the temp dropped to 60 degrees. Still no thunder, no lightening, no rain. WTF. Then a few minutes later the wind stopped dead and switched back to the south at it's previous speed of 10-20 mph. In less than a couple minutes, temp went back up to the high 80's and the sun was out again. Never rained a drop. You have now entered another dimension, not of space and time...……………………….
