60 degrees and just started raining here today. Had a nice rain Saturday that cleared all the salt off the roads. I drove the 5thA to work yesterday. Steering box is a little sloppy for 75mph but it looks like it averaged 25mpg so that's good. Those little lean burn 140hp slugs sure do get nice mileage for me! But I'm off into the wind for another car I don't need but want really really bad again tomorrow. Rig and tools all loaded up just waiting for morning! I don't know the last time I was this excited and anxious actually...

Went from 52 yesterday to barely 30 today with a north wind. It's just cold out.

Yeah 60 yesterday and raining by the time I got off work. High of 45 this morning and down to 40 with drizzle all day today. But that didn't slow me down one bit. Even with the heater core out of the truck. Some things just have to happen without delay whether completely comfortable or not.

Well, it was exactly one year ago that we had a 2 day snow storm that dropped 31" of that crap on us and,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it started snowing about an hour ago "Good news" is, it's only supposed to be 6-8" this year. Got to throw some freezing rain and sleet into the mix as well. Merry freaking spring. Seems like only 2 days ago we had the doors open at work, it was sunny and 68 degrees, the birds were chirping....... Oh wait, that was only 2 days ago.

Yesterday afternoon and evening, we got almost 2.5" of rain. Seems like half of it came down on the way home from work. Was like driving through the eye wall of a hurricane almost. Max speed of 25-30 mph all the way home and it looked like I was in a boat with the water spraying up past the windows. Rivers and streams are full and then some. The Wisconsin River, which runs through the middle of the metro area, is twice as wide as normal and don't think I've ever seen the current moving so fast. Anyways,,,,,,,,,,,I think the salt should be washed off the roads now, lol. Most of the sand got washed away too. Only 40-45 degrees the past couple days but, by Saturday, high 60's, sunny and dry so MAYBE, just maybe, the car can come out for at least a short spin up the road.

We've got another not so bad one going, so far. Rain coming later though, up to an inch. Just what we need, more rain, NOT.
I'm not getting too excited, haven't heard the frogs yet...……...No frogs, not really spring to stay.
