Rub it in right away! For the time being I like my snowblower just where it is, sitting in front of the Dakota in the garage. It's only a matter of time though.........................

Crap, I'm supposed to get 5-8" at my elevation..... A good weekend to watch movies. Ground is so warm here so it will be gone in a day. Problem really is the ice they are calling for.

Guess I won't take the Dodge out this weekend

See what you get for opening your big mouth and fertilizing the lawn? LOL Had a high of 35 yesterday and today,,,,,,,,,,,,,a whopping 13 predicted (10 right now at noon) Whine, complain, grumble, right?

I'll have the Dodge out this weekend. Unfortunately it says Dakota on it, not Aspen.

Good morning guys. Sitting inside looking out. Not venturing anywhere today. Foot and half of snow today along with 60 mph winds wind chill of -18* F later on today. Getting colder as the sun comes up. Hope the power stays on. Not looking forward to going out and firing up the generator if it does. Only good thing about it is the winds are blowing so hard it blows the snow to the woods.

Sideways snow just like rain except colder

Beautiful (appearing from indoors) day with clear, deep blue sky and blindingly bright sunshine here today, reflecting off the white ground. Go outdoors and the whole beautiful day illusion ends really quick. So far it's UP to 4 degrees (F). Guess that's better than the -12 it was at sunrise though.

Finally getting colder here. Boiler running better with it barely over 20. It's always taken getting under 40 to really run right. If there's one downfall to the Ultra, it's probably operator error in that I've never figured out how to program it for different weather conditions. Seems to eat more fuel when it's "warm" out than just a nice cool day like today. I bet I could get my hands on a master manual at this point with it being so much older than when they were protective of service techs being who knew how to do that.

Cloudy with a brisk wind blowing light flurries here today. Feels good. We still haven't had a solid white ground cover this year and I'm not hoping for any of that to come either. This weather is just fine with me.

Karma always seems to kick me in the

I would say I got 6-7" total with ice under and on top of it with a lot of wind. It is pretty, but of course I do not need to get out in it. Power is still off and on (repairs I'm sure); I have a thermos of coffee in case there is a prolonged outage.

You with the Karma? Me with the Big Mouth Jinxing myself. Yep. 2nd to last sentence in previous reply. I knew I shouldn't type that as I did it anyhow...

We got 5 or 6" of nasty on ice last night.

Daughter looped her 5thA getting home from work at under 30 mph. She was pretty upset. Just sheet metal damage on a random 4x4 post somebody had stuck in their front yard right by the road. I'd been trying to talk her into letting me replace the door dented by a deer last year, guess I'll get to do that now. At least she wasn't hurt, and neither was the car beyond the dinged up fender. Already yanked it out as best I could and it's drivable while not tossing snow or rain outside the fender now. Fender liner still intact but for a crack in the front. So that's good too.

Well that really sucks. Just sheet metal damage (and no daughter damage fortunately) so not too bad to repair.

High today was 34. Forecast high for tomorrow? Well, it's 30 degrees less than today (4), and I don't really see anything above teens for the next 7-10 days. Seems it's the typical arctic colder than f*** period we seem to get most every year. What I also don't see is any snow predicted in that time so, take the bad with the good I guess, yes?
