keep your aspen. i bought this car & was sadly disappointed. a lot of things the seller didn,t mention. he said it would need a new paint job to make it show condition. what he didn,t say or show pics of. orig. paint is down to primer in places, paint in engine compartment has a few defects, that would have not cost much to fix while motor was out. lots of nicks ,scratches ,& dings in body. paint under trunk lid is peeling to bare metal. trunk looks horrible. lots of blemishes in strips.trunk lid will not stay up. have,t been able to check underneath yet,but i bet i find something. windshield leaks really bad. hard not to have known this if car was washed, which i,m sure it was. i took it to 4 body shops for a paint quote. 2 just laughed & would not touch it. other 2 gave me a price of $7000 = strip kit (319 plus shipping} other was $10,000. also front air dam was damaged when i got it & trucking co will not respond. another $350.00 all in all i will have around $20,000 + - in it but it will look better then new. if anyone is interested i would sell it when done this is twice i,ve been burn,t buying online.never, never, never buy one regardless of sellers description without looking at it or having someone look at it before bidding.

You may have to get a appraisal. Or look at Hagerty or one of those other classic car insurance companies.

That sucks. I've bought several cars online, and what I've realized is they are ALWAYS worse in the flesh than in pics. Good luck with it and looking forward to some pics when done.

Ya, sorry to hear. I've been burned once too. Bought several sight unseen. Much more careful now and ask alot more questions and not as trusting anymore. Too bad people have to be jerks. I always want to trust Mopar people, figuring we're family. Hang in there. I'd like to buy a Super Coupe, but reality is I probably never will because one won't pop up around my area, and I just can't do it sight unseen anymore.
