we had to modify the linkage going from 2 barrel to a Holley 4 barrel and aluminum intake . thought id share a pic . kick down we needed to lengthend so we cut it , threaded both ends , added these tube nuts and linked them back together wit ha stud in-between , finished it off with sone black paint and heat shrink .

pretty good update today , the aspen is on the road . exhaust done on today . sounds kick ass , headers 2.5 flowmaster style no h or cross over . great sound .worked out all the bugs the last couple weeks. so we pulled the engine just to reseal and gasket it ended up with a 340 cam , headers , edelbrock intake and holley 600 . fresh paint looks new . haha i screwed up a few weeks back before i pulled the engine i thought i removed a bunch of crap for emissions turns out one of the items i removed was the field load relay . haha charging issue solved as well as the interior fan not working . strange . heres a pic of about the final product . sorry i don't have more im not big on pics and stuff as i go.

Nice work! What a Great nice clean rust free looking car! Now that she's running well, what's next?

Oh, And I have to ask what method you used for routing the exhaust to under the bumper?

Actually looking into this that might have been the a/c relay . its the one in the middle , i had also removed the one to the right which is the egr timer . whats odd it something with the charging runs thru this wiring , not sure if anyone else has some insight on this .
